Connect Claude to Retavon
Add Retavon to Claude once and sign in as yourself. From then on Claude works in your store as you: it writes the quote, books the visit and tells you how the week went, from the same live numbers the counter sees, with your permissions and nothing more.
What Claude does in Retavon
Ask in plain words. Claude finds what it needs in Retavon for itself, and acts there. Nobody copies numbers into a chat and back. Claude looks things up without asking. Before it changes anything, such as opening an order or booking a visit, Claude asks you first, and you can tell it not to ask again.
-
"Quote the Johnsons the seven-person spa with the cover and steps."
Claude builds the quote from your price list and packages, adds the trade-in and the deposit, emails it to the customer and sets the follow-up.
-
"Build tomorrow's route for the north crew."
Deliveries and service visits in order, with arrival windows, and the crane booked where the site check says one is needed.
-
"How did last week go?"
Sales handed over, orders written, margin and service, store by store, against the same weekdays last year. Read live from the books.
-
"Close October."
The journal batch for QuickBooks, the check that the books balance, and what still needs a person's eye before the month is done.
Add Retavon to Claude
On a Free, Pro or Max plan you add it yourself, in about a minute. Free plans allow one custom connector 1.
In Claude
- Open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Retavon and give it the address
https://api-demo.retavon.com/mcp. Choose Continue. - Keep the recommended sign-in settings, Claude's published identity, and choose Add.
- Sign in to Retavon as yourself when Claude asks.
- Ask Claude how the week went.
What the owner sees
Your connection appears on Retavon's Agent keys screen under your name, as a key of its own. The owner can limit it to looking things up, or switch it off, and everything Claude does is in the audit trail beside your own work.
For a Team or Enterprise plan
An owner of your Claude organization adds Retavon once: Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Custom, then Web, with the same name and address 1. Each person then opens Customize, then Connectors, chooses Connect beside Retavon, and signs in to Retavon as themselves.
Because each person signs in, nobody shares a login. Your salesperson's Claude holds the salesperson's permissions, your bookkeeper's holds the bookkeeper's, and when someone leaves, their connection stops with their access.
On the desktop, the phone and in Claude Code
Once Retavon is added, it is there wherever you use Claude.
- Claude on the web and Claude Desktop
- The same connector, at the counter or in the office, on a Windows PC or a Mac.
- Claude on the phone
- Ask what is on today's schedule or whether a part is in stock from the showroom floor or the truck.
- Claude Code and agents of your own
- For jobs Claude does on its own, give it an agent key with the roles you choose. Claude Code adds the same address with the key as a header.

Agent-driven, with Claude Duet
Claude Duet is Anthropic's agent that keeps working between conversations, on a computer of its own, and comes back to you when it needs approval 2. It works in Retavon through Retavon's API, with an agent key you issue.
Give Duet a job in Retavon
- In Retavon, issue an agent key: for yourself, or for nobody with only the roles and stores the job needs. Limit it to looking things up to begin with, if you like.
- Give Duet the key and Retavon's address,
https://api-demo.retavon.com/. It finds every job at the store from there. - Tell it the job, in plain words: "Each morning, follow up the quotes that have gone a week without an answer, and tell me who you wrote to."
What keeps it in bounds
Duet holds only what the key holds, and asks you before the steps it needs a yes for. A text or email it writes in its own words waits on the Messages screen for a person to send. The owner can limit every agent in the business to looking things up, or stop them all, with one switch.
Questions
Which Claude plans can connect to Retavon?
Every plan: Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner of the Claude organization adds Retavon, and then each person connects.
Can Claude see everything in the business?
No. Claude sees what you can see and does what you can do. A salesperson's Claude cannot read the books unless the salesperson can.
Will Claude change things without asking?
Claude asks before anything that changes a record, such as a quote, an order or a visit. Looking things up runs without asking.
Does Retavon charge extra for Claude?
No. Connecting Claude is part of every Retavon plan.
Can the owner switch it off?
Yes. The owner can limit any one connection to looking things up, revoke it, or set what every agent in the business may do with one switch.
Can Claude Duet work in Retavon?
Yes. Duet works through Retavon's API with an agent key you issue, holding only the roles you give it, and comes back to you when it needs a yes.
Does this work with ChatGPT as well?
Yes. Some people on a team use Claude and some use ChatGPT, and each works with that person's permissions. See Connect ChatGPT to Retavon.
