# Retavon

> Business software for specialty retailers: point of sale, inventory, delivery, service and basic accounting. ## Where the hot tub beta stands

In the beta now:

- Sales, counter and inventory: Quotes, orders, deposits, tickets, serialized stock, purchasing and transfers.
- Delivery and service: Scheduling, routes, the field screens, work orders and care plans.
- Water care: Counter tests, lab imports and dosing.
- The books: Journal entries as things happen, financial statements and the owner's numbers.
- The API for agents: Every operation the web app uses, with agent keys and the audit trail.

Still to come:

- Card payments: Built on Stripe, including card readers at the counter and on delivery day. Running in test mode only.
- Email and text messages: Templates, automations and consent checks are built; messages are not sent yet.
- QuickBooks: Journal exports are prepared; the connection to QuickBooks is not built yet.
- Moving in your records: Importing from the system you use today is not built yet.
- Lenders and labs: Financing decisions and lab results are entered or imported, not linked live.

## Questions about agents

- Can an agent do more than the person it works for? No. A key that acts for a person holds exactly their permissions, and nobody, person or key, can grant a permission they do not hold.
- How do I see what an agent did? The audit trail records every change with the key that made it, the person it acts for, the time, and what the record was before. Filter it by person or by key.
- Is there an MCP server? No. The API is plain HTTPS with an OpenAPI 3.1 document, which agent tools can load directly.
- Does Retavon send webhooks? No. Agents read the event feed and acknowledge what they handle.
- Which agents work with it? Any that can send an HTTPS request with a bearer key and act on the replies. The key's name is yours to choose, so the audit trail says which agent did what.

- [OpenAPI 3.1 document](https://api-staging.retavon.com/openapi.json): every operation, served from the staging API. Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer rtv_...`; keys are issued by a person at the business.
