Who we are
Retavon is business software for specialty retailers, made by Retavon LLC, 723 W Headwaters Dr, Eagle, ID 83616, United States. Retavon's service texts are sent by Managed Data Communications Inc, doing business as Retavon, which operates the texting program. In this policy, "we" means both. Write to hello@retavon.com with any question about your information.
On this website
retavon.com sets no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the page, the referring site, the browser and the country, and does not identify you or follow you to other sites. When you write to us, we keep your message and your address to answer it.
Service texts sign-up
If you sign up on our service texts page, we keep your name, your mobile number, the words you agreed to and when you agreed, as the record of your consent. We use them to send the texts you signed up for and nothing else.
Text messaging
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Our text service provider processes your number only to deliver our messages.
Reply STOP to any text to stop them, and HELP for help. The SMS terms say what is sent and how often.
Businesses that use Retavon
A business that runs on Retavon keeps its own records in it: its customers, their orders, payments, equipment and messages. We hold those records for that business and on its instructions, use them only to run the software for it, and never sell them. Each business's records are kept apart from every other's. A business can export all of its records whenever it asks, and can erase a customer's details on that customer's request.
If you are a customer of a business that uses Retavon, that business decides what it records about you and what it sends you. Ask the business first; we will help it answer you.
Who else handles information
We use these providers, each only to do its part:
- Render, which hosts the website and the software
- Cloudflare, for the website's domain and visit counts
- Twilio, to send and receive text messages
- Resend, to send email
- Stripe, to take card payments for a business that has connected its Stripe account
- WorkOS, for signing in to the software
- Microsoft, for our own email
We disclose information when the law requires it, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep a consent record for as long as you get texts from us and for four years after, to show what you agreed to. We keep messages to us as long as they are useful to answer you. A business's records are kept while it uses Retavon; when it leaves, it can export them and have us delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@retavon.com. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.
Children
Retavon is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes, this page changes with it and shows the date at the top.
